The A&D ANNUAL 19 was Gaia Starace’s final Master of Art graduation at UNSW Art & Design, Cofa, Paddington, Australia, presenting her final project at one of the four exhibition venues at the Kudos Gallery, Paddington. The group exhibition showcased a series of projects such as installation, animation, visual effects, digital media and film, visual communication and graphic design, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, sound, spatial design, furniture and jewellery, textile design, design for social innovation, ceramics and more.

Gaia’s A&D Annual 19 installation “The square and the circle: a space of playfulness contemplation, 2019, entailed a mix media painting and (oil paint, pigment and diamond dust on fine Italian cotton stretched canvas, 1500x1500 mm) and a vinyl material-hopscotch (on the gallery floor). This installation was part of Gaia’s major Capstone exhibition at the Comber Street Studio in August 2019
